  The earliest stories of how the Dvergr came to be talk of the female, Skogul- she who protects the dwelling place- crumbling from the mountains as Compagiv played. The god, seeing the feminine creature, brought to life the four mountains that held up the sky to be her companions. These were the progenitors of the four main clans.
